Trewollock is a large family house with stunning panoramic views over Mevagissey harbour and St. Austell Bay, and is part of a small development on a quiet no-through road on the southern side of the village. Due to the slope of the land the front door (at road level) enters the top floor of the house, with a single bedroom and a larger bedroom with a ziplink bed that can be used as a large double or two single beds, with french doors onto a balcony. This floor has a bathroom with shower, bath, wc and basin. Stairs lead down to the middle floor, with a third twin bedroom, a bunk-bed room, a large double bedroom (kingsize bed) with en-suite shower room and french doors onto a balcony, and a second family bathroom (shower, bath, wc and basin).The twin room on this floor doubles up as a childrens room, with bean bag chairs, a tv with dvd player, wii console and balance board, plus games.

On the ground floor is the sitting/dining room with a comfortable seating area for 7, extra bean bags, TV, DVD,large dining table seating 8 and french doors onto the outside deck. The large kitchen has a dishwasher, gas hob, double oven, fridge, freezer and microwave. The garage (accessed from the top floor) houses a washing machine and tumbledryer, and has plenty of storage space for surf boards, wetsuits, etc. On the seaward side of the house the large decking area has a large table and chairs and BBQ; steps go down to a second decked area with a couple of recliners, and the rest of the garden is steeply terraced and unsuitable for young children.

The house is under new ownership, and a fifth bedroom (with bunkbeds) is now available so that family groups of up to 9 can be accommodated, however it should be noted that the sitting and dining room seating is best suited to 7 or 8 people.

Breathtaking views over the harbour and out to sea from all the bedrooms, the sitting/dining room and kitchen. Private parking for 2/3 cars, no smoking. One dog welcome by prior arrangement, with additional charge and deposit. Heating, electricity and wi-fi included; bedlinen and bathroom towels are included. 15% discount when occupied by 2 people, 10% discount for up to 4 people and 5% discount for groups of up to 6.

Trewollock was ideally suited to our group of walkers, with the bedroom layout working well and the number of bathrooms preventing queues! The house was ideally situated almost on the Coast Path itself, and it made a great, warm base to return to at the end of the day. We will be back!
