Blue Harbour Cottage | Sleeps 6 | £695 - £1,635 week

Blue Harbour Cottage, an old sea captain's home situated on the sunny side of Mevagissey harbour, is just yards above the quayside with spectacular views over the harbour and out to sea. A long established and extremely popular holiday cottage, Blue Harbour has recently been lovingly upgraded by the new owners to provide a stylish comfortable house with light-filled airy rooms whilst retaining its period features and character.

The location on a pedestrian-only pathway is ideal for a stroll round the harbour, observing the fishing boats coming and going or popping to the village shops, restaurants and pubs which are just a minute's walk away. Carry on past the house and you are on the South West Coast Path and quickly up onto the cliffs. It is a fantastic base for the kind of family holiday memories are made of, yet it is also ideal as a romantic hideaway for 2, and would be a warm and welcoming home after a day walking or fishing.

The location is perfect for exploring Cornwall either by car or public transport, and the passenger ferry to Fowey runs from the opposite side of the harbour.

Sept 2020 - Dear Helen I just wanted to write and say that we had a fantastic time in the cottage and what a lovely place it is. It is beautifully presented and it had everything that we needed. We certainly had a restful time in Mevagissey and the surrounding area. It did us the world of good at this time.

Dec 2019 - We have visited Mevagissey many times and often book through Helen because she is always so helpful and quick to respond. We have stayed in a number of Mevagissey Holiday Cottages and have not been disappointed. Our most recent visit was in Blue Harbour Cottage, a lovely cottage right on the harbour with a great view and moments from the restaurants/pubs/shops. It is well equipped, comfy and clean. There were some lovely decorations put up as it was Christmas week and some treats in the fridge for us which made it extra special. I would highly recommend booking with Helen.

Nov 2019 - A lovely house house with a great view, perfect for walking to the harbour and shops. Would love to come again!

Oct 2019 - Lovely cottage, lovely views, lovely time, Thank you!

Sept 2019 - We have stayed in Meva many times, but our first time in Blue Harbour. We have loved sitting watching the fishing boats come and go. A really lovely house, and the welcome pack was a nice touch, thank you.

August 2019 - We had a lovely time at Blue Harbour Cottage. The view was something out of a fairytale and we very quickly found ourselves calling it home. We will snap up this cottage next year if it isn't fully booked!!

July 2019 - A peaceful and comfortable house which very quickly felt like a home, welcoming us back after sunny days out. Blue Harbour is very special.
